You will have the floors, external walls and a roof enclosure to walk around and see in real time what spaces will work best , door locations etc and get a actual feel for the spaces you want to create. Clients have often expressed how areas seemed bigger/smaller than expected and knowing this, requested alterations.
You can make decisions at your own pace with no pressure from the main contractor and you are free to make changes with no financial implications if something is not working for you.
